Ash Vs Evil Dead Premiered on Halloween

I have been trying to be a patient girl for YEAAAARS waiting for more Evil Dead stuff to come out, and now it's finally here. Yeah, yeah. I know the movie reboot came out, but that's not what us fans needed. We needed more of Ashs' adventures against Deadites, or at least something in his universe that isn't some Nu-Horror re-imagination crap.

How great that Bruce Campbell was down for Ash vs. Evil Dead, and Sam Raimi too, so we not only get more Evil Dead, but a lot of the original feel too. The show was SUCH a success before it even aired, that it was picked up by STARZ for a second season.

I haven't had cable or anything for about four years now, but once in a blue moon a show is picked up that I actually reaaallly want to see, and it's hard to find on the net without some kind of subscription. Unless you want to pirate it of course. If you don't have a subscription to STARZ like me, you can watch El Jefe, the very first episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead right here, thanks to STARZ' Ash vs Evil Dead official Facebook page. Alternatively, you can watch it there.

Unfortunately, it doesnt appear as if the rest of the season will be offered on the internet without a STARZ subscription, but I really enjoyed the show. A little cheesy in some parts, but hey, it's Evil Dead. Army of Darkness had cornball written all over it, and we still loved it. The show has a mix of practical effects and poor CGI, but it's all good. Since the show was picked up for a second season, and it has been received very well by audiences, I imagine all the little things will be tweaked up if you are particular about that type of thing.
