Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Official Movie Trailer

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.

After months and months of speculating (and complaining), a real, good look at the Turtles and what we can expect from this movie is finally in our faces. So... what do you think?

I think it looks cool. They look kinda funky, but it's fine. I'm sure it's not easy to design a human-sized talking turtle that doesn't look kinda silly.

I will say this; if for whatever reason, the movie ends up just being fast, closeup, action packed fight scenes and buildings crashing all over the place to make people think things are happening, I'm going to be sad. Effects are cool and all, but I want substance too. We finally have a great budget to make a Turtle movie, so I hope it's not just some lame popcorn flick distracting people with explosions.

Please be as serious as giant, pizza eating turtles can be *crosses fingers*. Don't make me punch you, Michael Bay. I hated Transformers. Yep, I said it. And did I mention I hate Megan Fox? I probably have a dozen times. Does she have to look like shes posing in every one of these scenes? Maybe we'll get lucky and they will replace her in the next movie like they did in Transformers. Hey, they changed the actress for April  in the original sequel too, so let's stick with tradition here...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Paramount Pictures is set to be released later this year on August 8th, 2014. My pops took me to see the first movie in my TMNT tee while holding my Michaelangelo action figure, so I'm going to do that again with this movie. I'm never growing up, NEVER!!
