•Action Comics 868 – “Brainiac Part 3” is just damn good. Gary Frank and Geoff Johns can do no wrong it seems. They are basically re introducing Brainiac and it is incredible. This story is also going to have lasting ramifications. Namely Kryptonians being let free on earth.

•Batman – “R.I.P. part??” do I care what part is it up to? NO! Batman of Zur-En-Arrh?! Yes Batman is capable of creating a different personality to protect him from such an attack. But damn!

•Batman Confidential 20 – I like this story arc. “The Bat and the Cat part 4” is funny as hell and it has all the best parts of the Batman world.

•Final Crisis: Revelations 1 – I like the idea of a powerful being. From Darkseid to Galactus and the Spectre is a great one. The recent twists with his human hosts and his connection to the new Question rocks. Rucka is a writer of the best caliber, especially with gritty street books. Adding the Spectre has not changed this one bit.

•Gen13 – 21 I dumped this series a while ago. Now Wildstorm is all-abuzz with the “World’s End” story. Basically the world is all crap and the heroes fell very short of preventing it. Now they are all coming to term with it’s state and trying to maintain the world as it is before more die. Don’t know how long I will stay on these books( Wildcats, Authority, Gen13 and next weeks StormWatch).

•Green Lantern Corps 27 – This book can do no damn wrong. The whole Green lantern world actually. I won’t review something this damn good, get on this series.

•Trinity 11 – I am growing more and more fond of this book. I don’t think it will get as good as the GL books but what can. This series does show the importance of the big 3 in the DC world and the multiverse actually. More Batman and Superman though, I continue to think of Wonder Woman as under used at DC.

•Wonder Woman 23 – I liked this series in the end. It showed Wonder Woman as a true rough hero and even threw in Donna Troy.

•Broken Trinity: The Darkness 1 – It’s a one shot of the best event out there. I said it the best! Short sweet and simple with huge consequences. That is what Broken Trinity is. 3 issue event with 3 one shot related books. You can’t go wrong. Get this and enjoy it, you will.

•Dracula and the Wolfman – Its Frazetta People! Of course you know I got it. It just rocks. If you ain’t on these books you are missing some truly great modern classic books.

•Fantastic Four 559 – This book is CRAP!!!! I would rather read more R.I.P books then this series. It hurt me in ways that violate the Geneva Convention.

• Secret Invasion 5 – I can’t get enough of this book. I am angry at the next month of waiting. Hawkeye is pissed too. What is better then an angry Hawkeye? An angry Mr. Fantastic! He is free and angry. Choked out agent Brand who freed him then went straight to the Savage land and brought the Smackdown. Normally I can’t stand the geek coming to the rescue, especially after being tortured. But he is angry people. He stretched his balls out and is taking no prisoners

• Secret Invasion Inhumans 1 – I am bias, I should mention this. I loved this book. I love the Inhumans and am glad they were added to the Invasion especially in such a huge way. This of course will lead to War of Kings event later on. Not necessary for the series but a good supplement.

• Secret Invasion Runaways/Young Avengers 2 – It could have been a good book. It shows signs of decency but the first book left a bad taste. I don’t think it is necessary for the series, but it could work out that way.

• Secret Invasion Thor 1 – It is a good book. I liked the way they wrote Thor and the rest of the cast. The book works. It isn’t necessary for the series though.

• Secret Invasion X-Men 1 – Best book of the invasion series. The action starts right away and doesn’t stop. Not necessary for the series but like World War Hulk X-men, it rocks.

•Astonishing X-Men 26 – I usually think Bianchi’s art is more miss then hit but he is doing great work. The story is great, the team interaction is way beyond good. The best X book out there.
