Concept Art From THE CROW Remake!

This year it was reported that a remake to the original "The Crow" was being developed. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) was signed to direct the film with Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, The A-Team) set to play "Eric Draven/The Crow". It was later reported that Bradley Cooper had exited the project due to scheduling conflicts. Cooper would be working on "Silver Linings Playbook" and then "Paradise Lost" during the time "The Crow" was to start production. A few months following Cooper's departure it was announced that director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo also dropped out of the project. Fresnadillo is now signed to direct the new "Highlander" remake. Fresnadillo was originally the replacement to the project's original writer/director Stephen Norrington (Blade, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen). Norrington left the project citing conflicts with the lead actor who after a script polish by Nick Cave (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds) was no longer happy with the direction of the film. After over 18 months of developing, several script rewrites, the exit of two directors, and the lost of their main star, it is a good assumption that "The Crow" is in development hell. The future of this movie is now unknown. In the meantime take a look at the concept art from the Fresnadillo and Cooper version of "The Crow".
