Pete's Basement Season 10, Episode 33 - 9.13.17

The Basement Crew is back after a (too) quick summer vacation! We've got an interview with Yasuke: Birth of a Samurai creator Deranta' Avaloy, who's Skyping in to talk about his new comic book and his new animated series based on the real life story of the only African Samurai! Plus Liz joins us for the long-awaited Game of Thrones Season 7 finale wrap-up review! Then Pete and Ramon have an in-depth discussion on Secret Empire and Venomverse. And I'm sure you know how that's gonna' go. Were there any good books over the last two weeks?

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 36 - 11.16.16

The Pete's Basement Show is BACK! Bigger, badder, and drunker than ever! Catch up with Pete and the rest of the Basement Crew as they go over what books have kept them entertained over the course of the last month. Eric Powell's Hillbilly is at the top of Pete's "You Need To Read This" List. Punisher is as Max as Marvel can get! DC Rebirth's Green Arrow, Flash, and Wonder Woman are pretty popular with Rich and Trish, while Greg has chosen to backtrack through the pages of some Marvel team graphic novels.

Happy Halloween from Pete's Basement!

Pete from the Basement here to wish you all a Happy Halloween, and to give you a head's up on the return on the Pete's Basement Show - bigger, better, and drunker than ever!

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 34 - 10.04.16

Rocket Scientist Ninja Chris Craddock joins Pete at the Basement table this week, and he helps Pete and the fans understand (in layman's terms) the science behind DC's Frostbite.! Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes is such a great concept that it should have been done long ago! Teen Titans: Rebirth is off to a great start. But the highlight of this week came in the form of Deadpool Annual 1. The boys couldn't help but unleash their inner 5yr old after seeing a book drawn just like Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, one of their favorite Saturday morning cartoons!

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 13 - 4.19.16

It's a double-sized Pete's Basement episode as the boys have three -- count 'em - THREE weeks worth of books to cover! Joining the likes of Black Panther, Grizzly Shark, and Hot Damn are The Three Stooges, Teddy Roosevelt in The Rough Riders, and a heart transplant gone slightly awry in Heartthrob! The boys talk The Walking Dead and the consequences attached to an ending like that!
